FC Dallas Coaches
FC Dallas Coaches
Of the FC Dallas coaches, who would you recommend for the mid to lower level teams. I know who the "top" coaches are, but curious about the other teams. DD is looking at would like to hear some feedback in general.
Any info is appreciated.

Louis Z. Is good. But his team may be considered a "top" team.
Don't even waste your time with the others.

Do your homework. Fcd has plenty of Honest , decent coaches to choose from at the 99 age group.

If you're near FCD Stadium, there are several to choose from, but why play up if you're looking for mid-lower level?
Send me a PM if you want to discuss...

I agree with wbfcd99. Why would you play up to go to a mid-teir team? On another string right now, "06 Aggressive Soccer Players", there are a couple parents that have already noted that they regret playing their DD up at some point. Unless your DD is so elite that coaches are constantly telling you she needs to play up, it's probably better to stay in her true age group. Don't make your DD be an average '98 when she can be a star '99.wbfcd99 wrote:Geography and drive time might also be a consideration...

I understand the Pros/Cons to her playing up. Everyone is looking to get something different out of this experience and not looking for this thread to become a debate for that topic, but appreciate the input.wbfcd99 wrote:Geography and drive time might also be a consideration...

Preferred training in Frisco or nearby surrounding areas, so yes - FCD South would be out.
Thanks again.

If you are looking for a team in the North, then the D2 Matt Ellis Team and the D3 Keith Williams are teams you would want to look at.

And if she truly is a star, then the real question becomes why are you looking at FC Dallas in the first place?

I'm not. Just don't know as much about them as I do others.
It's a simple question to get some info. Not sure why there's a need by some to stir up a debate when it's not needed.
Thanks to those that actually provided info I was looking for.

The 99s will be all reaching their maturity very soon where there wont be that much difference playing up a year. Some of the 99s will be entering their Freshman year of high school, like most of the 98s. This is actually a good year for such a kid to join with kids in their graduating class rather than their soccer class. It is hard to imagine that any 06 parent has any insight on playing up at this age level!!
