I'm with FC Lubbock. We will be sending three U-10G teams to DFW for tournaments over the next couple of months. For the AFC Adidas, FC Lubbock 02 (Holder) will be playing. This team was previously known as FC Lubbock 02 Red.

WOW...I'd say that is pretty head on with my thinking as well but maybe switch out TX Spirit North. (I don't know FCD Thompson) Dynasty and Solar Jones are definitely borderline between silver/gold. Both are quality teams as well.

Thanks I was really proud of myself considering the amount if alcohol I had already consumed. I was preparing myself for the visit from my mother in law today.

I polled the coaches in this age group. Based on the input of the ten coaches who replied, I have updated the top post of this thread with our preliminary division breakdown.
We added a 27th team and need one more team to even out the age group.

NO, that team you saw in February split up. Too many parents with too much time to create drama. This is a "Daddy Rec" coached team with about 50% guest players from other teams in the U-10 group. He plays ball with one person in focus, the midfielder blonde haired girl, his daughter. He also has serious anger issues, so piss him off and he will get out of control and sink his own ship. A good portion of the players parents think they should coach from the opposing sidelines. They will get loud and not very cordial.

Opinion or Fact, does it matter, I have watched this team through the rec divisions for the past 5 years. Go see for yourself.

If this is the FC Lubbock team that played this weekend at Cowtown...that's not what I saw. Parents were friendly, and I didn't hear a peep out of the coach, despite some bad calls.

No, there are currently 3 FC Lubbock Academy Teams. Originally the "dream team" FC LUBBOCK BLUE was the team in May, December and February. Since, these are all 3 fragmented teams with a few core players on each, a few floaters on each and some rec players and U-9/8 players scattered. The Lubbock team mentioned here has never played 11 v 11 with exception to the pick up kids from the league.
