Yes, and if I was one of those parents, I'd be hoping not to play as many Sunday and 8am games as those of us in D3 had. Then again, I'm wondering if the CPP will influence Sunday scheduling. We'll have to see.

Goodman announced as FCD Central Premier coach tonight...anyone know if his 03s are leaving Sting and going with him? Interesting....

Not enough to make a difference. They'd need 75% of the team to move with him in order to take the DII bye. That aint gonna happen.

So, the top two in D3 move into the new classified D2 and the bottom two in this year's D1 move into D3? Are "they" going to continue the first year of select going with a 20 team D1 or are "they" considering moving to a ten team D1 and ten team D2? Thanks for clarifying for future select parents.

Was Goodman announced as the coach for the 03's or just the 04's. I was under the impression it was just the 04's. No clue what happens to Goodman's 03 team.

No idea what LH's will do but the current format seems to work fairly well. I would imagine if anything were going to change they would have do so already.

It goes to 10 10 & 10
Top 2 in D3 move to D2 and Bottom 2 in now D1 move to D3
There is still some more twist and turns with coaches doing a "swop" of clubs and their respective teams needing to keep 75% of their roster. Could be an interesting June!

I would figure if 75% doesn't move with Goodman to FCD, then Sting would have someone waiting in PPL/APL to take their spot. I would count on having only 4 spot open for QT this year. Maybe I'm reading it wrong. This is our first rodeo too.

LHGCL used to do 10-10-10 in three divisions at U11, but switched to the 20 team group 5(?) years ago.  If you go to their website - girlsclassicleague.com - and click on schedules/standings you can scroll down and see past years.  Since they have stuck to the current format for 5 years I am guessing they like it and will not switch back.

Haha to the spring tournament reference.

The top 8 will advance to weekend two.
Then you'll have 2 bracket winners and the 2nd place teams.....and that's your 4 DIII teams.
