Soccer Shots is hiring for youth clinics (daytime)

Attention Soccer Moms & Dads, and Coaches!

We have an immediate need for Youth Soccer Instructors for children ages 2-8 for the Collin County and far eastern Denton County areas.

Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children ages 2-8 at local youth soccer associations, day care centers, recreation centers and parks all over the area. We are currently expanding and need a few exceptional instructors to help us run some sessions!

This is a part time and seasonal position and can be somewhat flexible, depending on your schedule.

We have classes available from Monday to Saturday, typically operating in the morning from 9 to 1130 am, and in the afternoon after 2 pm to early evening. Each class is 25-50 minutes long. We provide training, equipment, and all curriculum materials. We pay $20-35 for each session you run. At some locations, there will be multiple classes, meaning you could run 2 or even up to 4 classes consecutively.

The ideal instructor meets the following criteria:

Responsible and Great with kids -- arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots director, etc.

Professional -- neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with center staff, and parents; self assured

Overly Enthusiastic -- Must enjoy young kids, be able to connect with kids ages 2-8, must make the Soccer Shots class the best 25-50 minutes of their week!

Soccer -- Having familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a background check (no past felonies or DUI/DWI), and possess or be willing to obtain a CPR/First Aid certificate. Ability to work on Saturdays 9-11am is a plus. Applicants must also have current auto insurance and reside in Collin County or far eastern Denton County (not in Denton).
