Lake Highlands Girls Classic League
Speaking of field conditions, morning games on fields 2 & 3 at Chinn Chapel have been cancelled due to field conditions. We'll make a call on the afternoon games by 10am..posted on the Lake highlands facebook page

Hotline says all games cancelled today. Did it rain ? Are the fields under some kind of repair ?
My dd's game is tomarrow. Just trying to plan ahead ( a soccer oxymoron )

We showed up for our 8AM game on Field 2 and either the sprinklers were left on or there was a break in sprinkler line, but it looked to me like every other field was playing when we were cancelled...

Sprinkler head popped out or were removed and flooded fields, not lhgcl call...city's call

Pipe busted and really soaked the fields.
The walkway between fields #5 and 3/4 was really still wet for the 10:00 games.

Southern end of the field 4 was a real mess for the 3PM game! Smelled bad and very wet!

As a 95 parent who has been commuting over 200 miles per game since U11 all I'm going to say is that disappointed does not begin to describe my mood.

We hate to hear that. Unfortunately a valve got stuck on field 2 (watering after fertilizing for 12 or so hours) that drained onto 3 and 4. It has been a challenging season and we hoped to play today but with the humidity being high the fields didn't dry. Behind the scenes LV/FM/GLASA/LHGCL try our best to play. We appreciate you understanding more than you know.
