We just moved to Dallas with a DD who has been playing academy soccer for 4 years. Is there a team in Richardson/Plano area we can check out for our DD? THX

Since you didn't mention her age, I would start by looking under Teams Looking and the age of your DD for teams. Most will say what area they are in or will direct you to a website.

Since this is in the 02 forum, I have a sneaky suspicion he is looking for 02 teams. Otherwise why would it be in the 02 forum. Oh did I mention this is the 02 forum?

Noob - thank you for so quickly pointing out my error. I just clicked on the Latest Topic and didn't see that it was posted under 02 Girls. I, too, am new to this forum.

And some are slow and kinda dumb.

Tons of good teams in the Plano area. Normally you would want to start at level of play, but coming from out of town they may be hard to know. I'd check out a few teams and find out what level of play is best for her. Academy around here goes from glorified rec teams up to high quality studette filled teams.

I hear there is a smaller club called infinity. I have also heard that they have some great coaching. You should check it out. Good luck in your search.

Can't go wrong with Maurice for soccer skills, but I don"t know the numbers they have or where they would play. I guess you need to decide if you are shooting for the top 30 in LH or the rest and playing in Plano Premier league.

Try Sting. They have a few 02 teams of varying skill level, practice at facilities in Richardson.

My daughter plays for Infinity ('04) and we love Coach Maurice. Wonderful coach and a great person as well. However, I don't see an '02 team listed on Infinity's website. Infinity is affordable as well if that is a concern.

My '03 played for Will Searls when he was with Samba/D'Feeters and she loved playing for him. I see that he has an '02 Sting team listed on their site.

Of course if you are in Plano you can go 20 minutes in any direction and find great teams: Liverpool, FC Dallas, Solar, etc.
