11v11
How many kids will the typical '03 team roster this year?
15 seems like the right number....but I've heard 14 alot..that is if you have a dedicated 14 you can count on to show up every week
Nice new profile pic! - although you might not be the right body type for soccer.... but I never judge a book by its cover.

After only one game on his top team, he said I wasn't RASE material....that I was too physical and didn't pass the ball enough. Really?....make 10 passes before every shot, who has that kind of patience? Plus, he'd insist on me building a defensive wall on free kicks, just me...all by myself. So I said piss off and found a home with Lubbock's Cruz Azul, now that's my brand of football.

Our team lost a couple soccer balls at practice last week. Now I see where you were hiding them!! Please feel free to keep them. Really, please.

Yeah those brits and their "possession" soccer - worthless in my opinion- if you can get er done with elbows and some junk in the trunk, its not my type of football either - is Cruz looking for some guest players?

This might be the first time I've ever seen those two in the same sentence.

Obviously, there are exceptions to the rule, but I very much disagree.
People that think that because Brits, Portuguese, Mexican, etc. coaches are over here, will make them superior or bring with them that country's typical playstyle are incorrect.
Kickball style coaches are just bad coaches, but that has NOTHING to do with their nationality and neither does playstyle.

Total Soccer wrote:Did anyone actually play with a 3? On the boys size we still used 4s. I did think the running clock during the mandatory water breaks with already shortend halves made the games way to short.
I agree with this. The water breaks were akin to halftimes. When I'm reffing, I abide by two things. Firstly, I don't let players leave the field. Secondly, I limit it to a minute. Undoubtedly, coaches will try to stretch that minute out as long as they can, thinking it is a halftime by giving prolonged instructions to players.
Playing with the size 3 ball was ludicrous.
