Primetime Week 1

Looks like some good match-ups this weekend, I will take a guess at predicting but it should be noted that I predicted hot weather last weekend and we got rain and 80's so I obviously don't know a thing.


DTS vs Mendoza: I might have predicted a tie but since it looks like Mendoza might be breaking in a new goalie I'll pick DTS 1-0.

Scarfone vs Dalglish: Another potentially good game. I'll go with the known commodity Scarfone 3-1.

FC Dallas East (Formerly Juve) vs SRSA: I've seen FC East play a few times recently and they've looked good, I've seen SRSA play recently and they look very good, SRSA 5-1.

Fever vs Cosmos - I like the Fever team maybe a little more than some and I haven't seen Cosmos play so I'll go Fever 3-0

Sting West vs FCD Premier - Should be a pretty even match up but admittedly I've only watched FCD Premier play once so I don't know much about them. I'll pick this one as my tie of the weekend 1-1.

If someone wants to post the Silver knock yourself out but I've only watched 2 of those teams play.

Does anyone know anything about the SRSA team in the silver division? Is it the same as the gold? That's kind of scary from the talent I saw last weekend.

Canevari & SRSA worked out all summer together. They had about 28+ girls together with the goal of fielding two powerhouse teams in the fall. I guess they met their goal. The second team should rise in the rankings. The only question will be how many of the original SRSA girls will fill in when "needed." I hope none. It would be nice to see the second team get better just from practicing & scrimmaging against the best.

I'll take a stab at this, but it's my first time so go easy on me.

DTS 2 vs Mendoza 0 - the DTS defense will pitch another shutout.

Scarfone 2 vs Dalglish 3 - Dalglish added much talent over the summer, so this is my underdog upset of the week.

FD Dallas East 1 vs SRSA 7 - "We're not in DIAL anymore Toto", welcome to Primetime Juve, sorry you got this match-up your first game.

Fever 6 vs. Cosmos 1 - like Dalglish, Fever added even more talent this summer, and Cosmos lost more games than they won last season. Personally I think Vitesse should be in this slot.

Sting West 2 vs. FCD Premier 1 - will be the closest game of the day, but Sting will win by one.

I hate that I will miss opening weekend but hope to hear of some great games.
