State Cup Brackets (May 4-5, 11-12)

Here are the Brackets for State Cup
A. FCD Premier, Solar Gio, Solar Colvin, Solar Starks.
B. DT Higg, Sting Rezaie, Andro, Sting Parker.
C. Solar Dynamo, DT South, Defeaters, FCD Renfro.

New tourney for us. How does it work from the first weekend to the second weekend? I assume 3 pool games the first weekend. How many advance? Just 4 teams, top 3 seeds and 1 wild card? Or 6 or 8 teams?

How do you know these are the brackets? All I find is the accepted list so far? Do top 2 advance?

I believe in previous years they take the Fall Seasons finish to determine how the brackets are set. Can anyone confirm? I believe this is how this years was done, however I would like to see the seeding based on year end results.

Just 4 teams advance. But I guess it is possible to have 20 or 24 teams, which would cause a need for Quarter Finals. Has not happened in the past 4 years though.

They based the seeding on finish of fall season, basically standings in December. They were
1. FCD Premier
2. DT Higg
3. Solar Dynamo
4. DT South
5. Sting Rezaie
6. Solar Gio
7. Solar Red
8. Andromeda
9. Defeeters
10. FCD Blue
11. Sting Parker
12. Solar Starks
Based on what they said at the managers meeting
#1,6,7,12 is Bracket A
#2,5,8, 11 is Bracket B
#3,4, 9, 10 is Bracket C
Just plugging in the numbers, from what we were told at meeting.

4. DT South

7. Solar Red
