TGPL Predictions Week 8

After a month off of TGPL games will the fields be dry enough to play? I would hope so. If not, maybe its time for Primetime to move to turf.

I think solar power read my mind this week, still putting in a predator upset...

Let's face it...nobody wants to type all those games in...so you quote someone's post and then make your adjustments. It's easy to get influenced by whoever's picks you quote.
That's why I pick Herradura's....they always need major adjustment.

I'll be curious to see how some of these teams play after 4 or 5 weeks off. The Predator/RASE game should be a good one, Predator is the top rated team (at least according to the last power rankings) and RASE has been in the Top 5 now for about a year.

The only upset I have is West over Fever but I really don't know if I'd consider that an upset. I think they've beaten Fever a few times recently but it should be fun to watch considering there were almost a throw down on the sidelines the last time they played if my memory is correct.

You know I typed my notes in college and come test time, always made good money off people like you Mr. Solar!

I agree it will be interesting - They will either be rested or rusty, unless you are like good4nuthin and play your DD in 6 games a weekend and 3 practices a week...

I heard that Solar Gio wont be playing FCD Primere. I was told FCD Primere had the schedule changed so that they play GSSC and Gio plays FC Copa. Can anyone confirm? And if so why? Just asking no malious intended.

I don't know how the FCDP GSSC FCDC swap could work, as Copa and GSSC are in the Silver division - It sort of messes up the final standings.

Another week...another first time winner
FCD Premier game was not factored due to forfeit.

Primetime scored the Gio / FCD game as if there was no swap in FCD teams. I guess under the (us club?) roster rules, FCD can swap its entire roster for a game?

That is true....lots of flexibility with the US Club rosters (within the club that is)(and in academy)

But I'd be very surprised if that game is recorded in the FBRs as it appears now
....but what do I know.

I am hearing conflicting reports of what team/players showed up where, did Gio treat the game as a "real" game or just a scrimmage, etc...

I've looked at the rankings both ways, and the impact is actually pretty minimal.

Since I can't confirm exactly how the various teams involved treated the games, I am going with what is posted by Primetime, so that if I have to look back on these results a couple of months from now, what I have in FBR with match what is in Primetime.

If someone has an issue with how Primetime has things posted, speaks with Primetime about it, and gets Primetime to change the results, I will update FBR accordingly.

On a side note...

Does anyone know if the PTCL games scheduled for Grand Prairie on Sunday were played? No scores listed on Primetime yet for those games.

I think if there is anyone has the right to complain it would be GSSC getting beat 5-0 by Copa in silver - if indeed the entire roster was switched.
