Wasn't there, but I heard that they had about 100 out for it including about 10 GKs. And the irrigation system kicked on towards the end.

last year's 00 group they added 40, i believe. does that mean 40 people quit? I thought the pool gets smaller each year?

It looked as if there were twice as many trying for 00 as there were for 01 group this year.

Older 01's may have tried out in 00 age group which might be some of reason for increase in numbers. The 01's that are actually born in 00.

I believe there was 135 girls in the system of 01's. ~ 90ish went to OU camp.

BTW - remind me when the fall starts.... should be time to collect some $$$ for the fall about now?

I would say close to a 100. Competitively speaking the talent was a little more even. Made for some good 1v1 action. Last year was just more of parents and players going through the motion. Should be getting more competitive as they get older.

I would say there were about 65-75 girls and about 10 goalies... they broke the girls into 4 teams of about 15-18 players on each team.

They said there are about 100 01's in the system already on 5 teams.  They didn't mention adding a whole new team (I would think they would only if the talent pool dictated they needed too).  Also said that they will take girls based on talent that will fit in with the current teams (talent wise)... and use these girls to fill in spots where needed... I am assuming to add to those teams and replace anyone who isn't returning.  So, my guess is they will take 10-20 girls.

Have they had fall registration yet for ODP, I don't recall seeing an email on it. I assume it has passed, how else would they know how many girls to bring up.
