Rentable outdoor fields

Our team practices at a community park and can't use the fields on the weekends. Our club facility is unavailable due to a tournament. Does anyone know where there are outdoor fields that can be rented on the weekends for scrimmages and such?

I've rented outdoor fields at Blue Sky - The Colony in the past.  

Frisco Indoor Sports also has a smaller outdoor-style field (no walls) that's indoors (about the size for 7v7 field - 185ft x 85ft - NO WALLS).  Not sure of it's availability on weekends though.

Or schedule scrimmages with an FCD team. They usually have access to rent fields on weekends at FCD if nothing is going on.

What area of town? Some cities are far more strict than others. It may be as simple as going a few blocks away.

Check with private schools in your area, both grades 1-12th or 1-8th schools and even community colleges(Brookhaven and Richland obviously rent their fields out)....they are always looking for revenue streams if approached correctly. Of course it would really help if one or two of your players actually attend the school in question.

Greenhill rents out their fields (on Midway Road about a mile north of 635) so see if there are any other SPC (www.spcsports.org ) schools or TAPPS schools close by...

a couple of points: don't ask to use them everyday...don't leave ANY trash around afterwards....don't have 50 kids out there tearing the place up....

Also check with a nearby YMCA, we have rented from one before. Sometimes their fields aren't the greatest but they do have availability.  

Try the J near Royal and 75. There is contact information on their web site. There is an outdoor field that belongs to the indoor facility near Royal and 35. Can't remember the name of the place? If a team member goes to a particular school, approach the coach about using the field. Several will let you do this and the coach is usually the gatekeeper. That is how I finally found a regular practice field at a private school.

Most of the community colleges won't rent to an individual team. Have tried at Eastfield and Richland before.
