Solar Chelsea Red - Disney AS Roma Showcase Soccer Tournament "Champions"

The DFW area was represented well last weekend at the Disney Showcase Soccer Tournament.  Solar Red won the Championship and the Dallas Texans had a great showing.  

Texans lost 1-0 in a hard fought battle against a team out of Georgia in the final round of pool play.  They win and they move on to play in the Semi's.

Solar Red won their bracket and beat Charlotte SA Torison 3-0 in the semi-finals.  

Solar Red beat Tophat SC Gold 3-0 to win the Championship.

It was great to see both the Solar and Texans teams come together, watch each other play and cheer each other on.

"Thank You" to those Texans parents and players that came to the championship game and supported our team.  That say's a lot about your girls and parents...it also meant a lot to the Solar organization.

All-in-all...it was nice to get to play teams out of our state/league at such a competitive level.
