They seem to be playing platinum as well. SRFC are D2 only and there are a handful of others sticking with D1 only. Guess it's where the coaches feel the most comfortable.

No I believe anyone did.  But if Solar don't have a representation in the '04 age group this year and come LHGCL next year (Fall 2015) and they try to get in, wouldn't they have to start in D3 and work they way back up to D1? Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone..

I actually called this one last Spring after JK left Solar and aligned LFS with D'Feeters, and CP took his teams from LP to Solar.

Top 10 team, but #3 in the pecking order at their own non-ECNL club, already located in Solar Red's backyard... just made way too much sense...

If I was going to take my team anywhere as a coach it would be Defeeters. You might have a shot at keeping your team and coaching ECNL. Why bring a team to another club so you can lose all of your top players to the ecnl team and some other guy can coach them. Look at pulp he is in the same position that he was in at LP. Not coaching his girls in ECNL and will lose the girls that can go ECNL. Hell he could have done that at LP.

That one's a lot harder to predict... LW at LP is like Art Briles at Baylor. He sure as heck isn't going to leave Baylor to go be the offensive coordinator at another school. If Texas comes calling to offer him their head coaching job, does he stay or does he go? Right now, NO, because he's beating Texas at it's own game... However, if somewhere down the road, he's sees that he's constantly struggling to recruit the players he needs to keep Baylor competitive, and Texas comes back to him... or Oklahoma... or A&M...??? Who knows...

The other situation was like Texas not having any QB's on it's roster, or in it's pipeline, and Baylor having a well regarded QB coach, and a really solid redshirt freshman QB who's going to be stuck sitting the bench behind a freshman #1 QB who's already a Heisman candidate. Texas comes along and offers the Baylor QB coach a chance to be QB coach at Texas with a big raise, or maybe even the OC job at Texas, and tells the player that they'll come over and immediately be the starter for the next 3 years. No brainer...

Well put. I get both scenarios.

Who goes to Solar? Well, it has to be RASE...whether with LW's blessing or not. LP is desperately lobbying for an ECNL bid, but nobody is going to give one up. Sure, Solar does not have a viable 04 team, but time is on their side. FC Dallas is covered, Texans are a mainstay, Sting is the mighty Sting, and JK has aligned LFS with da feet. That leaves LP on the outside looking in, and Solar without at team. Without some sort of agreement between the two parties, all Solar has to do is name one of their top coaches as the ECNL team coach and get hold of a RASE player contact list, and its a done deal.
