Most competitive Fall tournament for 06s?

What is everyone's opinions on what will be the most competitive tournaments this Fall for 06 girls (and 06 boys)?  

I know it is probably early for you all to be thinking about that, but we are from Tulsa and looking to travel to find good competition.  I am with TSC Hurricane 06 girls and we are trying to do our planning now. We have the top 06 team in Oklahoma and have been playing up against 05s in all the local tournaments.  This is not to say we are ready to compete against the top Texas teams, but we most definitely want to bring our best down this Fall to play some real competition our own age.  Our coach also has the top 06 boys team in the club so the plan is to bring both teams down the same weekend for a tournament that will challenge both.

Do any of the 06 coaches and managers have a favorite for Fall tournaments?  
What is your team and which tourneys this Fall are you planning to play?

Last year, the AFC Fall Challenge had 32 teams in U9G.  We broke it into 4 skill divisions.  U9B had 24 teams in 3 divisions.  

Now it is called NTFC Fall Challenge - Nov 14-16, 2014 - Lewisville and Plano

Plano Labor Day tourney will be the biggest and best option prior to the fall season

Is there a valid link for 2013 results? I would like to revisit it since I started following this stuff just after that.

Last season's AFC Fall Challenge,  by far, has been the most competitive tournament to date for the 06. Only 2 of the top teams skipped it. Every other tournament has been hit and miss. 06 coaches have been unable or unwilling to play in 1 league or tournament so far. Perhaps Tulsa can change that.

We are definitely talking about the Plano Labor Day tournament because of how big it is and we know other TSCH teams will be going too. That is one reason we are planning things now. But I could only see 2013 results for U9 and up so I wasn't sure if they offered U8 last year or just took it down. I am curious what type of response it is going to get from the 06 age group this year. Will most of the top teams go?

I like to hear that very few top teams skipped the AFC Fall Challenge. That is what we are looking for. We are not trophy hunting, we want to bring our best and see how we stack up against the best. We will definitely have to consider AFC as an option.

I worry about Plano Labor Day a little bit if it is the first time for any of the 06s to go play in it. Of course, with our group of passionate parents, they would be willing to travel down for both... if coach is willing.

Plano starts at u9 so this will be the 1st year for 06's. Last year, Kicks Selecao and FCD Roach played u9 at Plano Labor Day, with Kicks taking 2nd in silver.
I suspect both tourneys will be worth the trip.

All of the top teams and coaches know about the Plano Labor Day Tourney, this tourney was a big deal when I was 9 years old, nothing has changed, it is a staple and worth the trip down from the Sooner state! Just watch out for the speed traps in Stringtown!

We played AFC Fall Challenge in '13 and it was a well-run tourney with lots of teams for all skill levels. We'll be targeting that one again in the fall along with Plano Labor Day.
