07's Fall league?

Big - for my 60x40 field size here is my goal information:

The goal shall be a maximum of 6 feet high, and a maximum of 12 feet wide.

All of my locations abide by this.

Thank IMO I think that is a great goal size.  There have been a few tourneys/leagues my dds have played in where the goal was ridiculously big for the field size.  Thanks.

Changes have been made! The 07's now have option to register 8v8 or 7v7 - let the registrations begin!

Nicole how many divisions are you looking at having for U8 7v7 for the fall at CFBAL? We have way to many girls for one team so we were looking at entering one team in two different divisions. I know when we register it asks Platinum, Gold, Silver A, or Silver B. Do you think there will be enough teams for all 4 divisions for 7v7? If you could let me know I would appreciate it. I want to get registered in the next couple of days. Thanks!

That does look good...I am guessing Nicloe will need to combine the Platinum & Gold leagues...and then I guess we just have to see if it is 8v8 or 7v7......not to open that can of worms again

LFS is in your list from earlier, but not Nicole's from yesterday. Hmmm, I know one of their parents, I'll ask!

I just heard back from my LFS contact. They are playing PSA this fall.

LFS '07 is not signing up for PSA. They're playing SDL.. as per their coach.

Oops sorry! My friend's kid plays for LFS '07 and she must have gotten it wrong.

Wow that CFBAL league looks stout! Hopefully the 07 group goes the 7v7 route - but regardless, a step in the right direction from what the 06s did last year! Well done everyone!!

The field we played on is certainly not 40 yards wide, so not sure what the '40' units are. Pepper South is 31ish yards wide(per me stepping it off on Sunday). A long narrow field with goals a bit small for the age group(some 3v3's are played on 4x8, while these are 6X12). While 7v7 is great, the grass is very good as well, the narrowness is like playing PSA Kinder/1st grade.
