Diaz players?? - I believe there was ONE. So, to suggest there were Diaz Players is naive. We all know the results if Sting Diaz plays Solar Abbott, ...no??, we'll let me remind you.

3-0, 3-1, 1-0

Interesting? Thank you Real Talk for validating Luv4Soccer's callout.....finally someone comes clean using players from other teams.

Bwgopher? Interested in how this fits into the ranking calculations? Competing teams in Top 5 and in same division swapping players?

One player? Wait…was this Diaz's super-player? And you won anyway? Wow, that's impressive. Think she'll play tomorrow for DT South?

For FBR, it doesn't.

If you want a ranking that takes that sort of thing into account, go here... http://www.txsoccer.net/t22836-05-human-rankings

Wish I was there to see Total Football or you know me I would provide full recap. Tailgating at Cotton Bowl. Boomer Sooner!!  A DD parent from either team will have to weigh in on this one.

LP Hyypia 4 - D'Feeters 0
DT Farley 1 - Sting Scarfone 1
Sting Diaz 4 - Lady Aztecs 1
Solar Pulp 3 - FCD Hanlon 0
Solar Abbott 1 - Rush Voutier 0

It is becoming more obvious that there is a top 3, a 4-10 that are all pretty close, and then an 11-15 or so who are behind them. It all makes for an interesting winter coming up.

There was a good amount of sharing and guesting this weekend because of school holidays. It probably had some effect on the results this weekend but is really not that big a deal.

Did the big exhibition happen?

Surprisingly no one is talking about DTS vs Solar Abbott game from yesterday? There were many of us curious observers watching from our cars. Clearly obsessed more with getting a peak of the mystery DTS team than watching the Cowboys. Final Score DTS 1 Abbott 0. Good game mostly controlled by DTS (just couldn't hit the net) but final 10 minutes was one heck of a battle. For those wondering, DTS is far and away the best team in 05. All 11 players on the field had great skills, feeling for the game and composure. They were fun to watch!

Not sure how you can make such a definitive statement when they haven't played any of the top teams. They are definitely good And one of the top teams. Hopefully the scrimmage will be rescheduled.

Definitive because it is my opinion and this is an opinionated forum. I have had the opportunity to watch the Top 20 play at least one game this season and no other team has fielded 11 players that equally demonstrated ball skills, speed, anticipated player and ball movement, etc. They just needed to score more. Not even Pulp or Diaz field 11 to this caliber. Reminded my of LP 04 team. BTW, Abbott is not a bad team (Top 10). They did beat Pulp (#1) and Voutier (#4) in the past week so DTS competition yesterday was respectable. Kudos to Coach Adames for what he has built! Great soccer!

Sometimes the best answer to ignorance is saying nothing at all.
So, with that being said, I'm looking forward to the CFBAL championship game were actual top teams have competed against each other every week. Then, finally, the top two teams battle it out for best of best. And I guarantee, that doesn't include DTS.

That's exactly the conclusion I'd have come to.  I mean, they did beat a team in the 6-10 range 1-0.

I am new to this board and topic. Can someone please enlighten me as to why DTS consistently doesn't participate in leagues and/or tournaments that attract the other top 5 teams? Is it the travel time to Cox Fields?

Governors on their cars.  They are unable to go the extra 4.3 miles to get to Cox Fields.

The DTS consists of players from Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Desoto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill and Midlothian. Travel time is not the issue, as they play at MoneyGram and Mcinnish, which are further in distance. It's something he's always done, in the end I guess it really doesn't matter at this point, because, come next year we'll ALL be in Lake Highlands.

Makes no difference because Solar Pulp is #1 and plays the weakest schedule in CFBAL. IF DTS was in CFBAL they will somehow avoid them there also.
