TSFC Futsal Program

Texas Spirit Soccer Club and Texas Sporting FC are excited to announce the TSFC Futsal program powered by City Futsal. The powered by program allows our coaching staff to work directly with the City Futsal staff in order to design the appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of our club and academy players. The goal is to motivate players in an environment that is conducive to learning.

Since the game of futsal is a faster paced game, played on a smaller sized court, and with a dense ball players will get an increased amount of touches and will learn to sharpen their technical abilities. This will create highly confident players with excellent ball control, allowing them to have an increased speed of play, and quicker decision making. Also, players who are more confident will be more willing to be creative and try new things.

Some of the advantages to training with TSFC Futsal program powered by City Futsal include:

Futsal is an exciting, fast paced, small sided game that provides plenty of goal scoring chances.

It promotes creativity and problem solving through the use of skill.

Players learn multiple aspects of the game including transition from defender to attacker, and vice-versa. Rather than having a set position players are able to learn how to support one another and keep team shape.

Training will be conducted by the City Futsal staff who are knowledgeable, passionate, and create a fun learning environment that encourages players to try new things, without fear of making mistakes.
