ECNL tryout?

If you wish to tryout for ECNL for those players who are older than 03, do you contact the coach and see if he/she will let your DD attend the practice (just like regular select team) or do you have to have some type of recommendations or reference from a coach or the club? Will there be an official TRYOUT for the older age ECNL group? How many spot will be available (usually)? With AP coming in, will ECNL re-adjust? Will this give new players better opportunities (more vacancies) or will it be about the same. We are clueless about ECNL and need some insight ...

Open tryouts for older teams usually begin after May 1st, which is the date that rostered ECNL players are able to train with other clubs. Most clubs will post open tryout information around that time.

That really depends on the team. Most clubs will go through an internal tryout process for their club players first and then hold open tryouts for players coming from other clubs. Sometimes you can determine how many spots have been filled and what types of players are needed.
