Not a lot of defenders from NTX

I am sure there are no correlations between USSF headquarters in Chicago Illinois and training facility in Carson California --- With the Clubs having the most players called up..
not saying they are not great players and clubs on the list-BUT
Really think it is more political where people close by USSF have the best connections

They are building the national training facility in Kansas City next year I am sure our NTexas representation will go up then.. maybe..

Solar with 7 and Sting with 6, followed by Texans and FCD with 2 each.

Wonder why the big difference between these two groups. Style of play of the clubs? Coaching? Club connections?

Maybe club focus Boys vs Girls. Especially with FCD. IMO they are amoungst the leaders with traditional and true style academy training on the boys side. Not sure if their numbers show this on the boys side yet but I am confident they will. A lot of very talented and interesting and promising prospects currently in their development system.

I think FCD and Texans numbers will increase when the DA is announced. Conversely I think the numbers will decrease for non DA.

Very good observation.

I think Texans and FCD focus more on U14 and above, they barely have any good teams nor good coaches below U11.

Solar and Sting put a lot of effort on development even for the young age like U10, by U14 they already build the loyalty among the top players.

It is Recruiting vs Development at young age!

And solar has Solca as a national team scout or asst. --whatever the case may be. I am sure that isn't hurting since it happened.

FCD low numbers are probably a result of their focus on the boy's side. Where they are 3rd on the list with 18.

Sorry about the omission. 2 for a non-ECNL (until now) club in NTX is impressive.
