She has very good skills but can be a little over aggressive...sometimes I worry she might hurt the other kids. But other than that she is extremely fast, scores a lot of goals and coach usually moves her to cm in the second half to hold the lead. I think her aggression problems are because she is 5-6"s taller than the other kids. Does anyone have any thoughts on teams?

Play her up 2-3 age levels to where she is one of the smaller slower players.

She may get the snot knocked out of her for a bit, but it will work wonders for the development of the technical and mental parts of her game and help channel her aggressiveness.

Hopefully she can take the thumpings.

We played her big sister up and it was a great thing to do for a while but it became awkward when her teammates all started driving and she was just starting 6th grade.

Guess they wouldn't give her a ride?.

Where is the older one playing now?

She had to switch to volleyball. There's actually a rule in socal about getting too many red cards..bunch of crap..such a subjective thing anyway. Long story short...I had to settle a few lawsuits and she's now a v-baller.

Question. Your older DD basically got banned from soccer because she couldn't stop fouling... will you be able to control your younger DD, or are we going to have to take into account the missed games by the player because she cant control herself nor be controlled by her parent?

I try to let the coach coach...so that's kind of on him. I didn't say my older dd was banned. They just made her take a year off.

It's also awesome how your dd plays a position named for the publicly traded medical technologies company, Stryker Corp. (NYSE: SYK). With over $11 billion in annual revenue and a keen focus on the sports medicine market, your dd is well positioned for her return to the ntx soccer scene.
