okay, I have to admit I am confused. I thought that the coaches for 07 JDL were previously announced and set - AG and JG???? How can you (sheinz) be advertising JDL?

Sting has a JDL team for the west to accommodate players on the west side of the metroplex.

There is a large number of talented players in the west and Sting recognizes that they deserve the opportunity to have a team based out of the area where they live.

the best west teams left to DT and there are no longer any good 07's and 08's there. If memory serves me, this is a new team and has not history of competing at a high level. IDK about this coach, i heard there is no way this is a JDL level group. I think Sting just gave it to them because they can't field a team but it's going to be a long year for these kiddos. That west division continues to be a mess! i think even their dallas teams blew up and they fired Flanagan from this age group.

As for the best leaving to go to DT and no good players left, don't be so sure.

This is NOT a new team. This team has been playing together for over a year. They played UAL in the fall and PIT Gold Saturday play in the spring. They held their own and will continue to do so.

As for a JDL level group, there have been no games played thus far. So saying it will be a long year for these kiddos , we could say that about any team.

As for the coach, please ask and I will tell you anything that you wish to know. I have coached college for eight years as well as high school, select, ODP, etc. I am more than willing to provide any information that is requested.

These players are a good group of players and can play at a high level.

Now for trolling a forum and looking to stir the pot, consider it stirred. The soup will come together in the end.

you sir are wrong, the best teams did go to DT. as far as the coach goes "i said IDK'", and honestly don't care to know that is why I didn't ask.

secondly, STING could not field an 07 team to go to Supercopa and that sir is why you ended up with a JDL spot in the West and not because the talent is there at his moment. You may get it later but you don't have anything at this moment.

This is correct, and the better players on this team will most likely be looking for another team before signing day, if they haven't been already.

Teams like this being given a JDL spot is the reason why JDL wont survive. It had the intent of the top 10 teams playing against each other for development, now its beginning to look like a Recreational League. Kids aren't going to improve playing against the talent coming in to JDL. I would challenge anyone to show me any JDL age group that has strong talent top to bottom in it.
