Can a DA player be registered on another club and play / practice DA for another club?
I have been told that DA players can be registered on another team and play for two clubs.
Any guidance or bylaws identified explaining how this works would be good. I read NTX bylaws and there is no mention of DA.

My understanding is that DA players cannot be registered in any other leagues while active on a DA roster. I have heard of a scenario where a DA player can un - roster during high school play and can be re- rostered when high school is done.

I heard the high school situation but they can't go play for another club at that time. They are still signed.

From the DA FAQs that are posted for the boys league this past year. Still searching for a specific rule geared towards the new girls league.
No Outside Activity/Competitions
To maintain a focus on club training environments, Academy players and teams do not play in any outside competitions without written permission from the U.S. Soccer Development Academy staff. This includes any other leagues, tournaments, State Cup competitions, ODP or All-Star events. Development Academy players for all teams must choose to participate in the Academy full-time and forgo playing for their high school teams.
Full-time Academy players can only participate on their designated Academy team, with only two exceptions: U.S. Soccer Training Centers and Youth National Team duty.
The Development Academy upholds this rule because we believe elite players require world class environments. The Development Academy's 10-month Program allows for a greater opportunity to institute style of play and implement a system according to U.S. Soccer's Development Philosophy. It also gives teams increased opportunities for younger kids in their club to "play up" against older players in both training and matches, thereby accelerating their development.

The girls had some different stipulations that could include outside activities but with a price.

But I also heard that playing HS soccer meant being deactivated from the DA roster during the HS season.
Maybe it will be the same old story - if your daughter is good enough, the coaches will work with you more and give you a little more leeway.
One thing I doubt you will see this year is DA girls bolstering LHGCL teams (of the same club) like the ECNL girls did last year. I assume US Soccer would definitely say that is against the rules.

That may be correct about the club having the say. I would also say that being allowed to do track would mean that your player would not be fully funded. I heard that about FCD. Might be correct, might not.
