FBR09 Rankings November 28th, 2017

Updated 09 FBR as of 11/28/17. Only 09 teams with 3 or more games played since 08/12/17 are included in the FBR published rankings. All games in the U9 leagues and tournaments that "publish results" are included.  

FBR09 will also include any 09 teams playing against each other in the 08 division.  As long as the teams that are playing up are not using 08 players when playing against each other 09 teams.

Also, ranking points are derived from who you play and their tier(not your own tier) and, how well the teams you play do.  As always regulation scores are used for FBR, not OT and no PKs that determine game result(if known).  FBR is presented as W/L/T not W/T/L.  This FBR is the sole representation of FBR09,  any and all complaints(and compliments) should be directed to FBR09.  These rankings use the same software and criteria as with all prior year FBRs.

What happened to Colvin?

Great to see that U90 created brackets with 6-8 teams each instead of the "4-team tourney" approach.

Last tournament it was colvin and no angelone, this time is angelone and no Colvin. ....Are they sharing players???

It may just be the time of year. Families are travelling and/or kids are taking a break.

Colvin had 3 Angelone players. Total of 6 subs. I sure it will be the same in reverse this time.

6 subs???!!!! Tough to rotate players in that situation.

And parents potentially not pleased. One thing to cover for missing players, another to just add new "talent"

It is my understanding that Angelone will not have guest players. Their roster is full. Colvin has had roster turnover so they decided to not play. I believe one of the players is now on your team, smugrr... assuming I am correct which team your DD plays for.

Glad the brackets are 4 and 4 but the draw is not balanced. It doesn't surprise me... these tournament directors don't put much thought into the seeding.

Proph, I am interested to hear how you would balance the draw as I agree with you.

I would have swapped moreno for spirit to even it out more. Rush has 5, 11, 35. Other side u have 2, 3, 6, and unknown

Typically the coach/manager registers for a specific division. Sometimes they are forced to bump a team up to Gold from Silver if they have too many silver and short a Gold team.

Bracket A is an 8YO murderers' row...

If it were me, I would swap Williams with ESC. This way the 7 and 8 seed are in two different brackets and doesn't give 2 teams a nearly automatic pass to the playoff. In the bracket stage it is less about the top and more about the bottom because every team wants a fair chance to advance. That switch would make it likely that the best four are in the playoff and that statement still holds true if Covey advances instead of ESC (which I would love to see... show them what NTX soccer is all about). ????

I feel bad for FCDwilliams Rush is going to destroy them , on the other hand the under dog may have a great weekend and end up in the Semi.

Poor Williams. It's going to be a bloodbath.

I could also see reason to flop Angelone with Moreno.

Moreno would have to be the underdog to make the Semis. All they would have to do is play an awesome game against Covey and they are through. Who knows who comes out of the Group of Death on the other side.

Well, DT Williams signed up for it, so cheers to them for wanting to play the top teams. And, who knows, maybe they picked up a few new players or guests since league play. Gotta play the games.
