High School Soccer Empty High School Soccer

Post by sloppy joe 12/11/10, 08:19 am

With the fall season over or ending, and high school soccer about to begin, I am curious: Are there any select coaches who still discourage their players participating in high school soccer? Seems to me the select coaches have pretty much conceded that our dds are going to play high school sports. Am I wrong? Anyone have a different impression?

Here is another question.

With sports overlapping in HS do any club soccer players choose not to play soccer in HS so they can play another sport like Basketball?

Is there anyone's dd that's been able to play select soccer and volleyball? I have a dd who's a 97 so Im thinking about next year. My daughter is not on a D1 or D2 team so Im wondering if its even possible.

I haven't heard of any dd playing hs volleyball and select soccer. Maybe someone else has.

There were some soccer players at the regional cc meet.

I bet you will see a lot of soccer girls in hs track.

I do think the girls should do hs sports. Too many benefits to pass up.

Our HS's Freshman team had 27 games or weekend tournaments between 8/6 & 10/26. My dd had conflicts this year in 8th grade with just 10 games. She'll have to choose between 1 or the other next year.
