All I will say is coach Dowell was aware of the situation and encouraged the girls to work on their skills. He also played his defenders as fowards the whole second half.

Games like this are going to happen at this age, teams played at a lower or higher level then they should. It's about developoment. Why should you tell a girl she can't score when you're trying to teach her that exact thing to do?

Nolegend, thanks for the response and glad the coach did make changes. How the winning coach handles these situations in a game gives insight into what type of coach they are.

turftoe, yes, its only 2 weeks into the season and teams may be trying to find what level they need to be playing. I never said anyone should be told they shouldn't score. Your right, it is about development and the reason for my curiosity. The situation at some point might have warranted developing the ability to shoot with the left foot if they were dominant right. that's all.
