I see the top 3 don't play each other in preliminary games.
Barnes may be left out of the finals since they actually allowed a goal.
Solid scheduling.

Don't let GLASA tell you officiating is any better than SDL it's been terrible.

The tournament referee assignor is the assignor for LHGCL, Plano Premier, and SDL. There are very few GLASA/EAL referees working this weekend. If you pm me with the game info, I will speak with him.
Dom assigns GLASA/EAL. He can't be TD and referee assignor at the same time, so we have to hire an outside assignor, which means outside referees.

The scheduling was fine. We (LP Barnes) had our chance... but we let a goal in. Credit to the Mutiny Shepard team for not giving up... they caught our girls out of position and scored on a nicely executed counter attack. No excuses. They just got one past us. It was a good learning opportunity for our girls who desperately wanted to play in finals.
Congrats to LP Beardsley on a hard fought win against Odyssey in the finals. Apparently it was quite the game going into two overtimes!

Regarding the 04G final -
So why does a tied final/championship game go to automatic 2 OT's?
Is that a typical kids or academy level way to finish a tied final?
It was a good game. I am making excuses because we were on losing side, but we were missing some girls for this tourney. We had 1 sub.
But Beardsley team played well. Exposed our defense once we started showing the tired legs. And downhill from their.
Great game though and both teams played great.
