PTCL scores from today:
Fever Black 5 GSSC 0
Fever Black 4 Polaris 0- and since I know someone will ask, only 02 was the goalie.
Good day for soccer. I'm burnt to a crisp and DD is exhausted.
99's Mom- Primetime scores were finally posted. You forgot to mention Fever lost to Odyssey 2-1 on Sunday as well. Did it slip your mind or was it selective memory?

It wasn't an 03 team, so I didn't post it.
Commentary from the game though...That was the girls 3rd game of the day and they were exhausted. Rough game for them. I wish we could have played them first in the day. Odyssey played a tough game (physically, several calls against Odyssey girls pushing) and got 2 good shots on goal. I don't recall our goalie picking up the ball more than a handful of times. Fever took tons of shots on goal and didn't get them to fall. And I think all of the Fever parents can agree that the girls were totally spent after playing 3 games, during the first hot soccer weekend.

I hear you! That Odyssey 02 team has always been physical - I remember Samba 03 playing them in a tournament and Skip's girls were flying everywhere. And if you know Skip's team you know it takes alot to out muscle them.
Not saying they aren't good players - they are.

It is only 8/9 girls soccer and most parents should lay off the wins or losses all together and worry about style of play.
