Plano west won 3-2 over Fossil Ridge. Did Grapevine win? By the way that number 5 for Ridge is awesome! If my DD grew up and played like her, that would be A ok.

Grapevine did win 5-0 over Duncanville.

So, results of the first round are: District 8-5A puts through their top 3 teams into 2nd round, Districts 5&6 advance both their 1st and 3rd place teams, and district 7-5A champion, Carroll, advances.

Some great games will be scheduled/played in the next 3 days. Starts tonight with Marcus v Midlothian.

Actually, I think they mistakenly put all the money into the sound system. I almost had a heart attack when the PA guy first started talking. Crap that was loud. The play by play made it interesting. My section was just wondering if we were going to get "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL" when the first one was scored.
