La Liga leaving GOL-TV Empty La Liga leaving GOL-TV

Post by CaliKlines 08/06/12, 01:13 pm

Starting this fall, La Liga matches will no longer be shown on GOL-TV. The rights to broadcast these matches were purchased by the Al Jazeera network. They have created a new channel called beIN Sports, and if you have AT&T U-Verse, you won't be able to watch the games unless enough of us complain and request for the channel to be added. I am not sure about other cable or satellite providers, but if you have U-Verse service and you want to watch La Liga in the fall, call 800-288-2020 and request that they add the channel.

Well I won't be watching La Liga then. That is a network that always ends up with terrorist material, videos, propaganda ect... EPL is more exciting anyway!

those are far down on my list of games to watch, I'm not worried about al jazeera buying those.

La Liga leaving GOL-TV Empty Re: La Liga leaving GOL-TV

Here's the scariest part....

Fox’s contract with the EPL expires at the end of the 2012-13 season and it’s expected that beIN Sport will look to purchase those rights, as well. The TV contract for the EPL’s 2013-16 seasons will be decided in November.

Don’t worry about the UEFA Champions League going anywhere, as Fox owns the rights to the European club championship through 2015.

Article says no word yet on Directv and if they will carry beIN...

Dunno what will be left for Gol tv to carry if no LaLiga, or Serie A...
