Why youth soccer gets a bad name Empty Why youth soccer gets a bad name

Post by billwill922 13/08/12, 11:03 am

I believe I ran into this woman at a tournament in the spring.

It's always the vocal, idiotic minority who give the rest of us a bad name

This has got to be a joke, right? Can anyone be that conceited and full of themselves?

haha read the other blog posts, especially the one about practice starting... too funny.
Absolutely a goof... reminded me of the old Phil Hendrie show.

Why youth soccer gets a bad name Empty Leave Bolt out of it

Post by Marvelousmar 13/08/12, 12:16 pm

Most of what he says is just for show. He also can back up what he is talking about.

He has done something in his sport no other has ever done, and has a chance to 3peat. (and in track he is a living legend) Yes he is confident in himself but for reason. Now this ubber mom on the blog not anywere in his class.

Ali talked like no other and backed it up.
Bird was a trash talking on the court like no other.
Babe Ruth Pointed to the direction he wanted to hit the ball and went ahead and did it.

Most top atheltes have a big head. It's kind of what keeps them at the top this idea in their mind, it's between their ears that they are the greates. Once they loose that. (I.E. Tiger Woods) They lose the supper hero feel and become ordinary. (Though tiger is still looking for the cape I think he may have left it when he reversed out of the yard)

You got to as a Jamaican I might be just a little biased. ( Not sure but maybe) Some call it antics, I call it giving the 85,000 a show. The race is 9.6 seconds long. He has to figure out a way to sell him self.

Hopefully this won't start a trend for the soccer moms/dads around here. Next thing you know, seating will be arranged by Parental groups based on Team Level. All seating will be color coded and all parents not at the pinnacle must wear an electronic collar (or ankle monitor) so that when they stray into the wrong area and try to speak to a higher level parent, they will be immediately zapped. I'm thinking there may be a 50 yard rule for parent seating come fall.

Not only will the seating be segregated, but only those parents in the upper eschelone will be allowed to speak at games.

Where is this woman coming from? The verbiage she uses is very similar to the NTX system but she never indicates where they are. Googling “KCSA soccer” only returned the "Korean Canadian Soccer Association" which, I suspect, is intended to be a joke.

There aren't really parents like this around here are there? This has to be a prank because nobody that sits next to me in the shaded spots talks like this.

In earlier "musings" she/he refers to "Kings Court" Academy Soccer... and the "Kings Court Classic".

anyway, again this is all bogus and trolling as far as I'm concerned... You gotta read the other three blog entries.. priceless.

I think it could be Kansas City Select Academy- part of the Kansas City Select Club? The Kansas City Friendly Games were held this past weekend in Overland Park, KS. I think this could be a serious blog!

I didn't believe it after just the first few lines and figure it's someone with a lot of free time who tried to write something funny. It's just not credible, however, and is hard to read after just a couple of entries.

Fake or real ... she just updated it. Seems like a lot of effort to go through if it's not true

the thing is, there are people that feel this way, I just doubt someone would actually be that public about it. Especially since that blog is mentioning kids by name. It's probably a parent on the lower team impersonating a parent on the higher team, trying to show what a jackass they are.

I've heard parents talk discreetly with similar comments, but they would never talk publicly or on a forum like that.

If this women is writing in character, she is really good at it. In the latest post she listed even more kids and parents. I sincerely hope that she's using fake names in this. If she isn't, the last note we're going to see about this blog is going be an obituary.

I just got around to checking out the blog. Only managed to make it through the first two posts. No way this could be real. Somebody's getting great giggles out of their new fiction career. Doubt this author is even female.
