8v8 on small fields? - They should have no problem going down with their speed of play, but that is alot of teams showing up from multiple states, hopefully someone will give them a game or two to make the trip worthwhile. IMO, there are plenty of 03s to beat up here - no need to travel to Vegas to do it...

It is a great opportunity for the girls to travel, bond and showcase their talent against teams from different parts of the country. I'm excited to see the results.

Really tho flygirl? It's VEGAS BABY!!! No reason should ever have to be given about visiting Vegas! After tossing money away into slot machines in the evening, you figure if the SRSA parents can live through the expenses of this trip all others should be pretty cheap. Good luck to all the girls, I know ya'll will represent TXN well, and good luck to the parents in the Casino's, remember "Always bet on black".

Im all for Vegas! - Just not with my 10yr old DD -maybe when she is 18 Mom can show her some coyote ugly. , on second thought, more like 28... damn I'll be old.

I do wish them good luck but will almost guarantee they will smash all comers. I said it once and will say it again, NTX 03s are the best I have seen. I would even go out on a limb and say you could take our top 5 teams to that tournament and they would end up top 5 or close...

I'm with jj4mel. It's a great opportunity for the girls to get that first visit to sin city out of the way! No doubt some will spy a little naughty naughty gambling action. Try Luxor on Saturday nights when the stripper is in full view of none Casino areas! Yeah baby! Take em to the Belagio so they can see what their parents could afford if they didn't pay for soccer! Wonderful idea! Idiots! I like Vegas don't get me wrong but if you take your kid there... Well, MTV will have a show ready for you in a few years.

Seeing competition in Vegas first hand for years, SRSA should do very well. Good luck!

Heard that it should've been 14-0, but their placekicker shanked the extra point after the 1st touchdown, and then they got stuffed going for two after the 2nd touchdown...

Man, gettin to pay a few thousand to play teams less competitive than what you face here in NTX has to suck for the parents. Proud of SRSA for playing so well and representing NTX so well. Good luck tomorrow.

Funny that we are judging this teams success by touchdowns and point after attempts! Will be interesting to see how they fair now that pool play is over.

The two teams they are facing are considered "top 5" Southern California teams, SRSA should not have a problem, but it will be a similar outcome as playing NTX top 5 teams - so maybe +4 or 5 rather than touchdowns...

Of course I hope I am wrong and they crush everyone by 10. I think it would be good for all NTX 03s as maybe it will attract other teams to come to our local showcase tournaments to test themselves rather than us having to travel to see what else is out there.

Seems our "good4nuthin" has taken to the socal forum - I need to go back and read some of this guys posts, seems like a character. Will the SRSA gag order for the NTX forum go away since DM is no longer at the helm? - I see scores are at least allowed to be posted.
