Lexus Tulsa Cup Teams - 01G

Anyone familiar with the teams outside of North Texas here? With only 14 teams looks like one big bracket (ie, no Gold/Silver). Thoughts?

Don't know about the Nebraska, KC, or Arkansas teams.

We played Blitz Navy about 18 months ago. At that time, I would put them on par with the middle of LH D2. We've played both NYSA Fury Schoene and TSC Howe in the past 7 months, I'd put NYSA Fury Schoene on par with Mid-Lower half of LH D2, and TSC Howe on par with top half of LH D3.

I'm assuming TSC Beattie (their top '01 team that is on par with LH D1) is playing up in this tourney, and would assume that the other TSC teams are weaker than Howe since I've never seen them in a tourney with other NTX teams, either in NTX or OK. Same goes for NYSA Fury Fain/White.

I think Canadian Valley's teams tend to be a bit weaker than TSC/Blitz/NYSA, but can't say for sure. We haven't played the '01 team, but did play the CV '00 team last fall and I would put the '00 team on par with '01 LH D2.

Thanks Gophers! That's good stuff! Very curious to know how this will be structured with the 14 teams and those rather good OK teams. Guess we'll find out this weekend when the schedules come out.
