My prediction that a North Texas Team wins Girls 5A is correct.

going to kicks. Hebron has been the better team, more chances, better attacks, but did not find the net. West shot just high and wide before end of second OT, probably their best chance.

Absolutely ridiculous when you consider that at least two really good teams won't even make the playoffs out of this district next year, teams that could easily win most districts in the state.

This District is the Playoffs.

The first three 10-5A teams to lose in the playoffs this year lost to other 10-5A teams. McKinney beat Boyd. Plano West beat Allen and McKinney. So that was true for 10-5A this year.

Soccer Lovers will love 6-6A week in week out great games. Most districts top 1 or 2 teams are too much vs not enough and the game is decided 20 minutes in. Who remembers winning 8-0? Winning a great game 1-0 may be hard on the heart but its where the true memories are made.

Funny thing is, the most attention on this district is for football, and that is one sport where this district won't be particularly competitive top-bottom.

Basketball? Soccer? Baseball/Softball? Put on your big boy (or big girl) pants and getcha popcorn ready!!!

Agreed ... competition and level of soccer in 6A6 will be crazy.

Hebron:  2014 State Champions ... I want to say that they only had 1 Senior starting.  Dominated throughout the tournament.

Plano West:  2012 State Champions, Undefeated 2013 Season, 2013 State Champions.  They graduated 7 starters in 2013 and one more starter couldn't play 2014 season due to injury ... they reload 2014 w 8 new starters and lose in the 2014 State Championship in PKs.  I would also say that they are only losing 3 senior starters from 2014 to 2015.

Lewisville, Plano & Plano East: About to be in hell.

Hebron started 2-3 seniors in the games I saw, however the real impact players were underclassmen, so they should be strong again.
