01 ECNL Tryout Information ??

I have a couple of questions.

First, how do you guys find the posts for the tryouts. I see the D'Feeter's information here but only hear the discussions about Solar and Texans on this forum. When I go on their Club websites I don't seem to see any posts under their ECNL.

Second, We were told that if you don't belong to an ECNL team you can go to tryouts without a release from your select team. However, we were also told that if your select club is ECNL then you can't go to tryouts until May...??

What is the real deal with this. And if girls in ECNL clubs are limited to a time frame, how come teams are already making cuts?

Perhaps I'm just missing the boat here, but have a player very interested in ECNL and are afraid to break rules and/or miss the boat.

You are missing the boat, but it is not to late. Get your DD out their. All players are eligible to participate without a release. Good luck!

The Texans have the info listed on their website on the home page under Dallas Texans events. They also have a banner that is flashing across the home page with info. They seem to be updating the site regularly. As far as Solar, I'm sure that Coach Solca could answer your questions regarding tryouts. His email is listed on website. It is my understanding that you may try out for any ECNL team without the permission of your club. As a courtesy though, I would tell your coach. Good luck 3000Soccer!
