Mgr Meetings notes on LHGCL website state that 'playing format' will be released on July 19th and that schedules will be posted by July 20th...

I'll go with the following teams making it.
Andro West (If they stayed intact, they will make)
LP Dalglish (Ditto)
D'Feeters (Multiple losses but only 2 where starters and picked up 2 DTS starters)
Toss up between LP Owens/LP Keegan (Every time I pick Keegan they don't come through and I cannot put anything pass Owens since they came out of no where last year and started strong but fizzled late in the season. Not sure about the make up of both teams but I know that both teams lost players.)

How's "player pass" - going to work during LHGCL qualifier? OR is there some place is states that it CAN'T BE USED......

I remember reading last year some where no guest players for qualifier, but passes are girls that can be put on the roster for the day or weekend or what not since their REAL TEAM is already in LHGCL as D1 or D2, so they won't be having games and can ASSIST right???....

It has already happened that pass players helped a team avoid relegation and having to re-qualify, but I don't think any CP players are allowed in the QT.

What would be the point of a team TRYING to qualify if d3 will have their d2/d1 players playing not the actual d3 team?

I hope those parents with the kid on the plano/attempting to make d3 team are VERY UPSET if their coaches sit their kid out just to "make it".

Then there is the whole, WHY MAKE IT...if your kid can't play at that level without help from another team...THEN where is the REAL competition for those teams that really did EARN IT.

INTEGRITY?   There is none.  Read the LH rules. They are a masterpiece of non-sensical doublespeak. They contradict themselves, sometimes only two or three sentences after a definitive statement. They even mention un-written rules. Un-written rules? What are those? Is that like double secret probation?

How about this statement, straight from the LHGCL rules?

III. QUALIFICATION FOR LHGCL
A. Eligibility
The LHGCL is dedicated to providing the highest level of competition possible.

I challenge anyone to square that statement with the practice of allowing a team into LH without winning a spot in competition.

If LH is TRULY dedicated to providing the highest level of competition possible, then there should be ONLY one way to get into the league, COMPETITION.

Looks like the link is working.  Some interesting brackets. Interesting that the top two teams that were relegated face off in a cross over game and it looks like FCD White got hammered with a really low seeding.

Why are #1 seed LP DALGLISH & #2 seed D'Feeter's WOMBOUGH having to play each other. This makes zero sense to me. I understand the need for the crossover game, but shouldn't they be crossing over and playing one of the lower seeded teams?

Yes, your right let's make it easy as possible for you to get in and not win any games at Lake Highlands.

My daughter does not play for either of those teams and never has. I know exactly zero people on either of those teams. I'd prefer the flight format to be set up correctly and it appears to me that it is not set up correctly.

My question still stands.

Seed 1 is in the first bracket and seed 2 is in the second bracket. All of the short brackets are listed first. Same as other age groups and previous years. Still do not get why it would matter to any other team in the first two brackets or any other team in any of the other brackets. It should only piss off the two teams it directly involves.

Win two games, move to week #2 and you do not have to play them twice.

Here is what their rules state:
C-2-f) All returning teams from the previous season will be seeded in the Qualifying Tournament in an effort to prevent returning teams from playing each other when possible.

Not sure why did would not have them play the lowest seed in the crossover brackets

Probably one of those unwritten rules, or maybe that rule has a secret spirit that they forgot to mention.
