Any one else see this? 55,000 square-foot facility, 5 indoor soccer fields, event rooms and a concession area, to be done on or before April 30th, 2015.

Great, another reason to drive to Frisco. I'm really wishing I had given in to my wife wanting to move there twenty years ago now. Here's to funding more tollways !!!!!

For size comparison Blue Sky in Allen advertises they are a 44,000 square ft facility and Blue Sky in The Colony advertises they are a 43,000 sq ft facility.

Sole Roll advertises 35,00 sq ft. So about 50% bigger than that. I'd be interested to see the configuration plans.

"The Pit" New massive Frisco indoor soccer complex Empty The PIT

The PIT will have one very large field (195X90), 2 60X90 fields, 2 futsal courts indoor. It will have two sandpit soccer fields outside. It will also have one large regulation field outside. Also the PIT will be announcing a new soccer innovation to Texas this week. Look for it in the news.

Frisco's new indoor soccer facility to break ground

I don't know which is cooler, the fact that they will be recording every game (what will the charge be to get a copy?). Or the robotic training system


"The building will have five indoor soccer fields and the first Soccer RTC training simulator in the United States. The simulator measures accuracy and timing by having players relay soccer balls into lit target windows.
Professional, semi-professional, recreational and youth leagues will all have access to the facility. Any games held in the complex will also be recorded, Duncan said."

The RTC will be the coolest thing in the facility. It will allow soccer players of age learn vision, control, accuracy and field awareness. We are really excited about it.
