You're probably right 02Dad but anything can happen any given day. You get those "lovely" winds picking up at UTD, it can be anyone's game. It does appear North maybe the strong team, but I'll stay with my guess.

Agree - it comes down to "any given Saturday"...and this is why they play the games. For example, saw that at the Austin Labor Day Tourney, FCD White beat Sting North 2-0. However, on the other side of the equation...Sting Parker (as per GotSoccer) hasn't won a game against a DFW team since May when they beat the Mustangs (a D3 team).

NTX soccer is nothng, if not unpredictable.

Sting Brown 0 vs. 2 Andromeda Red
Once again I have been wrong predicting the demise of Sting Brown but it's time for the clock to strike midnight.  Andromeda is a better team and should have a solid win here.  If Sting Brown win then they are the "surprise" story of this season!

Solar Red 1 vs. 0 FCD Premier
This is the game to see this week.  Solar has the talent to claim the top spot but FCD has been there before and knows what it takes to be #1.  In the end, talent will win over experience!

Dallas Texans 4 vs. 0 FCD Blue
This game should be over by halftime.  Texans needs to have an easy victory here to recuperate mentally after Solar Red walked over them last week.

Dallas Texans White 0 vs. 6 Fever
This is a gift for Fever.  They better enjoy it this week because they will not know what winning feel like when FCD Premier and Sting Higgy come calling!

Sting Higgy/Brown 4 - Andromeda Red 0.....player pass in full effect

Give brown girls some credit. Only 1 goal scored by higgy girl. The other 3 were purely sting brown. Way to go sting brown. Btw... Clock did not strike midnight.

I am sure it was because Sting Brown had all those injuries. Luckily all those injuries happened when big sister had a bye. Injuries, Riiiigggghhhttt???

Other way around 3 scored by Higgy....#23....but winning isn't everything...Brown played good

#23 is a brown player. Check next week. She will be on the field with sting brown.

Congrats to Sting Brown for finding the players to beat Andromeda.

So fess up how many Higgy players were there? And were they top studs , middle roster or low roster. Several different scenerios here folks. Is brown just trying to win and grab top girls? Did they have injuries and fill spots with girls who can help be cuz they play that position? Or did coach give girls who needed it extra touches? Two out of three are acceptable IMO. And the number of girl(s) . Is it one or is it five? Hey you want floaters? Go to a team that has multiple teams.

I don't think most people understand the player pass rule....you see by bringing girls over from higgy the DD's sitting on the bench for their 3800 bucks are learning how to be better players

Sting Brown must have been worried, for some reason that his selections couldn't  get the job done so he got some players from big sister. Luckily he was able to use the CPP and the "Spirit of the Rule" to secure the victory. Must be proud.

See how many more use it the that spirit this yr. Sure they won't be the last ones

Actually Sting Brown has 16 young ladies on their roster and two of them are hurt. And I think that 10 of the 16 young ladies are new to that team. So, the team isn't stacked with the talent like SRSA, Higgy or FC Premier but they seem to work hard. I have watched these YOUNG LADIES, let me say it again, YOUNG LADIES work hard and improve week to week.

It is a pitiful commentary as fans or parents when a simple "Good Job" or "Way To Go" is so difficult to speak. From week to week these girls just work hard, listen to their coaches and do their best on the field. Since you can't acknowledge the effort of these young ladies allow me to," Awesome job and way to go." Try saying that, try to actually act as though you can appreciate a group of young ladies that are giving their best each and every week.

From what I understand there were two Higgy players rostered today, but three of the four goals came from a Brown Player. Maybe the outcome was affected by the fact that Andro's starting goalie was out today.

So, do us all a favor and quit being so critical of these 12 year old young ladies.

Blah blah blah. Not critical of the girls Mo....Critical of the one who makes the decisions. Try to comprehend Mo. I thought it would of been an extremely close game 2-1 andromeda or maybe even a draw if both teams played straight up. Obviously coach didn't have the same confidence cause he brought in the rent-a-talent from big sis in the spirit of the game. Just making an observation. Luckily Big sisters players were available to help secure the win.

4-0 to Sting Brown. That's all that matters. So "Go Job" and " Way to Go". Are ya happy

TMBG Nobody is critical of the young ladies but the use of the CPP.  So there were no other young ladies from one of the many Sting teams that could have benefited from PLAYING UP but the other Sting D1 team needed players to play equal. Were the young ladies from the bottom of the roster (limited playing minutes) or were they starters? That will tell you what the "SPIRIT of the rule" that was used. Winning or development?  All of the Sting Brown young ladies should have played more minutes than the D1 Sting Higgy young ladies. After all, 10 of them are new as you stated and need the playing time to mesh with THEIR teammates not CPP teammates.

Damn- heard few Higgy girls played ECNL today with 01 team. Is that acceptable? Or do we blame the outcome of that game on those kids- get over it people. I'm wondering if the parents from beaten Andromeda team realized how tough D1 would be once Feet and Gio were out of picture. The girls even clubs didn't make the player pass rule just using it - correctly I might add.
