FC Dallas academy practice on game nights??

So next week, FC Dallas has a home game on Wednesday night.
I thought that maybe the fields would be closed, but they are not. However, the only way our team gets to use the fields for our regularly scheduled practice (which we did pay for, right?), is if 75% of our team is going to the game.
The fields are either open, or they are not. How is it we have to pay twice to use the fields?
Don't get me wrong - the turf fields are great - but it is getting kinda old practicing with 6 or more teams on one field.

I can't believe they have change meters on the toilets now too. 25 cents to use the restroom.
