Does anyone know what the rule says about a LHGCL player who is contracted with a team...do they need a release to play in the Primetime League on Sundays with a different team, intraclub?  Or, only if it is with a different club?

LHGCL is sanctioned by NTSSA/USYSA.
Primetime is sanctioned by US Club.

NTSSA/USYSA contract rules do not apply to US Club leagues and tournaments (ECNL and Primetime).

So you do not need a release to play in a Primetime league with any team, within or outside your current club.

Point of clarification......does that apply to trainings as well or just games?

If the team is in the same club and your LHGCL coach is o.k. with it, no one is going to make an issue of it.

If the team is in a different club, it's a bit of a gray area. If the players are registered and playing for a team in an NTSSA sponsored league such as LHGCL/PPL/APL, and, in addition, are playing in Primetime (even if the roster is different from the NTSSA roster), technically, you would be violating NTSSA rules by training with them without a release.

If the team/players are ONLY playing US Club (ECNL or Primetime), then you wouldn't need a release to train with them.

It really comes down to if someone decided that they wanted to make a big stink out of it.
