Anyone else hearing that FCD threw a Hail Mary pass and they will now keep ECNL another year?

That sucks for the existing TX conference teams. Cost to play ECNL just went up somewhere between $500-1000 per year for all of those families, with minimal added development or recruiting value. Glad I'm out of the NTX club soccer scene with all of this useless expansion of regional travel for league play.
Hopefully ECNL isn't stupid enough to expand ECRL to include the CO teams as well, like the DA clubs did with DPL.

Can't think of ANY logical/rational reason to be traveling with 11/12/13 year olds and spending 10K doing it...
I'm willing to do it come 9th grade/10th grade. But what are the chances of getting on one of these established teams later on AND actually getting quality playing time.
It makes my head spin.

You can't think of a logical reason because there is none. As for getting on one of the teams later, don't worry. There are definitely more "elite" team spots than there are "elite" team players.

Man, for someone out of the NTX club soccer scene, you don't frequent this forum at all....

Yeah. Somehow I had clicked on "watch this thread" in the past and got an e-mail reminder about it.
As usual, can't keep my mouth shut. Oh well, deal with it.
