Solar 07 top team league play

What league is the top 07 team at Solar playing for 2019-20? I have a good friend with an 07, whose daughter is a great player. She could possibly make the Solar 06 DA. However, she is on the younger side of 2007 birth year, and maturity level reflects. With 3 to 5 of those girls playing up in the 06 elite leagues, i’m hoping there will be plenty of spots to fill. Does anyone have any more info ab this team (league play, pros, cons, etc.)? Trying to help find a good, competitive team.

Solar's top team will play in the DA (a league you appear to be already aware of). If your friend's daughter is good enough to play up a year on a DA team, I would be stunned if the family needs your advice and help in finding a competitive team to play on. Girls who can contribute at that level (a year up on a top team in the country) aren't common and typically get directed to an appropriate team by people who are paid to look for them.

Timmyh, you've been trolled. And rumor is they are going to play ECNL..., which I'm sure is exactly what LeftybutGoodie wants someone to float in response to his/her post.

Wouldn't be the first time I have been phished.
And given that the criteria for staying in ECNL and not having to drop it for the dual clubs is significantly easier if a club has a national championship within the last 3 years, I always wondered why FCD or Solar didn't sacrifice a DA team to go win an ECNL title (a la Socal Blues). Too late for FCD.
Hmmm.... Thinking about it more... There's no postseason for 07 DA, but there is for ECNL. So this would be the age group to do it for a year. And I guess they could just roster them on ECNL and perhaps PT them to the DA team for up to a dozen games anyway. Interesting. I bet the Federation won't like it, but they aren't likely to do anything about it.

It's tough for most teams to compete against the pool head to head. It's all about perception and that is what sells. The more leagues the more money and a bigger pool to draw from it makes sense from the business model.

Looks like mighty Solar followed up being whipped by FC Dallas 07 last week with barely eeking out a draw against Lonestar 07 today. Perhaps they really do need to drop down to ECNL after all and get some wins under their belt. 
Side note... The U13 DA conference is going be ridiculously tough next year. All six of Solar, FCD, Lonestar, Texans, Dash, and OK Energy are inside the YSR top 50 teams in the country. That's pretty stout.

Came back with two wins to top their group. They'll be just fine.

Good on ya Timmy. Perhaps you could be a good lad and help clarify something in yer infinite wisdom. Are they playing u13 or u14 ECNL next year?
