Fever IMO is a team to watch!

9 times out of 10 i'm kidding on this forum. Gotta love fever. I haven't seen them play in a long time and I look forward to watching them play.

Bjones, my identity is not a secret one. Most people know that my dd plays rec. Ball with the purple ponies. People know her because I bring her to a bunch of different teams training sessions. Shes not up to par yet so I just continue to work on her skills.

You must be talking about our 06' girls. I didn't set the schedule, but that's pretty funny to call me shrewd. In fact, I'm missing all games this weekend (out of town).

The 02' forum is boring like the boys thread because we don't have parents bashing each other or taking stabs at each other. So i'll try to get it going by saying, soccerskills can only kick with his right foot and his teeth are crooked.

Ok, the truth about Tondo. Not even a has been because he's never been. Couple bum ankles prevent him from kicking a ball with either foot, and he couldn't save a single shot taken by my sweet right foot..........Go Wolverines!

Tondo, does have a mean bicycle kick, especially one for his advanced age.

Tis true. I'm still trying to figure out why the ball isn't smaller and you don't throw it. And where are the bats and gloves?

Here is my prediction for this great tournament...in order of how they will finish in their group:

1. Rowdies (they tie FCD but get 1st on pts)
2. FCD Premier (see above)
3. Southlake Saints (beat Defeeters)
4. Defeeters

1. SRSA Webb (beats Glotz 1-0 in group)
2. DT Glotz (gets second with 2-0 win over Fever)
3. Fever Red(beats Waco Blast)
4. Waco Blast

Semi's
Rowdies vs DT Glotz (Glotz beats Rowdies 2-1 and is now top Texans team)
SRSA Webb vs. FCD (Webb handles FCD like they usually do)

Finals
DT Glotz vs. SRSA (rematch of Carey final...Webb wins out right 2-1(no Shootout)

Web is now the top team in 02, but will start loosing players after fall SDL(the usual Webb pre select breakup)

Just my 2 cents....advise...don't bet these picks in Vegas!

Semi's

SRSA Webb vs. FCD (Webb handles FCD like they usually do)

Finals
DT Glotz vs. SRSA (rematch of Carey final...Webb wins out right 2-1(no Shootout)

Web is now the top team in 02, but will start loosing players after fall SDL(the usual Webb pre select breakup) I believe the pre-select break up will be avoided now that Kat is with Solar. Just my opinion in conversations with some of the '02 parents.

predicting a changing of the guard so to speak? i still think rowdies and fcd are tough enough for at least one to pass the semis.

Why was "United" added to the name? Did you just combine with another team to become united? or by adding united to the name makes ya'll sound more English and proper? Did you drop the FC part b/c football club sounds pretty English.

Your coach could use his first name. Fever United Kenneth?

That's entirely too long for the front of a little jersey. Guess they'd just have to shorten it to only putting the first letter of each word on the uni's.

Well let's hope they don't add the other coach's first name and use initial's. Could have some explaining to do.

Yes. Hopefully they will just keep it simple and get blinged out FU on the front of the jersey.

Soccerskills, why would you put this on here? You aren't even part of Fever, and I don't think any Fever faithful think we are going to win it all let alone win by 5.

You are right tmcc. I shouldn't have posted that. Some know me, but some posters don't and they could think that I was a serious fever parent talking crap.

So, bob and tmcc, along with the name change are you changing the color scheme to silver and black like we previously discussed? All girls with FU on the front(blinged), mandatory head gear and light shoulder pad affraid

don't worry tmcc, soccerskills and coach cs are old buds. he's no trouble maker.

i think we'll have to stick to the standard unis per ntx rules. i would however like to see the silver and black go through; just purely as a community service. i mean, does every team in ntx have to be RED?? it's gotten out of control. we need a system like getting a liquor license where there is an approval board and limits. can you see it?? "no, i'm sorry new club x, we have reached out quota of 335 red soccer teams in tarrant county. you can either be yellow or go to denton."
