CFBAL League???

Any other teams considering playing in this CFBAL league? Cost for the league is $700 and games are played at convenient nice fields.

I believe there are a couple of Texans teams and Solar teams signed up for the 05 group. Good fields and cost is much more attractive than SDL.

I believe there are a couple 05 Liverpool teams that are playing CFBAL as well.

I'm very curious to see a more complete list of teams. Which 05 Liverpool teams?

Liverpool 05 Rush and Liverpool 05 Gerrard both plan to play CFBAL.

Couple of points on the cost and other considerations:

Don't forget every player must also be registered with their home association, such as Glasa which charges $25 per player for "Registration" (Frisco is more than that I believe)

So effectively add on another $250 to the $700 registration... or in otherwords same price as SDL.

You will also need to get a signed roster from the home association with all the players listed with their Unique NTSSA #'s as well as manage the game reports process.

good point on the fees. really depends on location and fields. location depends on where you are coming from, but cfb pretty centrally located. but fields at cfb are nicer than blue sky in my experience.

Actually - CFBAL will register your team with NTSSA (Academy Forms) for $150! They are doing this in order to attract more teams to register for their league. That is a great deal and one of the reasons why we are going to play this league. It usually cost around $50 - $80 per player (depending on your home association). Having the Academy Forms will open up so many more tournaments for us to play. Also Cox fields and McInnish Park are SO MUCH CLOSER than Andromeda fields for our team.

Cost for CFBAL for our 03 team will be $850 including Academy forms and SDL would cost $1100+$50/player over 11 ($1400).
Referee fees included in league fees.

What will be interesting to see is the number of leagues that end up with only 3 or 4 teams registered. There are now more "academy" leagues out there then are being advertised on here. For example Allen/Plano/McKinney have also banded together to form one. Exactly how many are there out there? What does a team do once registered and then finds out they will be playing the same two teams for an entire fall season?

After this fall probably end up with 2-3 three higher quality leagues, and the competition should help improve the product offering by the leagues, competition is better for the consumer.

Agreed, but lack of transparency by the various leagues has every team guessing as to where the others play. Why not post a list of teams that are registered as a form of advertising? Then you can either choose to play there for competition or not.
