SDL - Fall Season

Anyone have a list of the 05s playing in SDL?

Joe, I guess SDL has been the only show in town for a while, so they don't worry about their customers as long as they keep the coaches happy. But, with all of the new leagues, I predict that more teams will jump ship to other leagues in the near future. I know we will be.

No, SDL hasn't been the only one around. There have been many (PAL, EAL, Prime Time and other less competitive leagues). New ones will pop up and old ones will fold. People move for many reasons, yours is valid, but you shouldn't lose sleep or stress out over it. I guarantee you the other leagues will find a way to grow, but will have growth pains, like any business. They won't please everyone, but they try their best. It's all about money, field availability and competition. Supply/Demand will kick in and as people shift leagues, the same issues will come up.

Yeah, that is either a partial list or there are even more 05 teams out there that went to other leagues because i know for a fact there are more then just those out there.

I believe those are all of the 05 teams that registered. Looks like LFC is running the show.
My older daughter's team is playing in Primetimes academy league-the competition seems to be about even. With so many good academy teams forming, I think you will find good teams spread out across all the leagues in the area. I was hoping to see more 05s in SDL though..that horrible drive out to The Colony needs to be worth it!!

with the numbers Im seeing registered in Futsal leagues and indoor leagues on the smaller fields it looks like some coaches are getting on the bandwagon. Small sided games on top of various academy leagues... I know the development my dd has shown playing futsal this summer is thru the roof.

Yeah, that confirms there are way more 05s out there that have gone another route. I can think of at least 8-10 '05 teams just off the top of my head that are out there that are not listed on the SDL schedule. Very interesting given the fact that some of the same teams that were in SDL last year are still together and did not sign back up.
