I just want to clear the air about all this talk about LW being a "car salesmen" and the Daglish team. I have been in this soccer world for ten years and have been involved at the academy level all the way up to u14 nationals last summer; from oldest dd to youngest dd now on this Daglish team so I have seen a lot of soccer. I know that you are all smart enough to recognize that the information on this forum about our team comes from 2/3 parents and they do not represent the voice of our team; unfortunately, they are the loudest at times. We have a great group of girls right now who are learning some amazing soccer at a very young age; and sure, we are proud of them. However, for MOST of us parents, soccer doesn't define them and who they are. Which leads me to why we play for Liverpool and LW. We have 3 dd's at 3 different clubs, Texins, Solar and LP. LW is the best academy coach we have ever played for. Yes, he knows his game of soccer; yes, he knows how to teach skills; and yes, he can recruit. Most important to us, he is a role model for our dd. He teaches her about team work and working with others; he challenges her to think outside the box and be creative on the field; he encourages her to work hard and always try her best; he plays games at practice and is fostering a true love of soccer; he makes her laugh and have fun; he is instilling some great life skills that I feel are important to the development of my dd both on and off the field. He doesn't scream and yell at them, he doesn't fight with the refs and he surely doesn't argue with the other coaches he plays against. Some of the top players are coming to his team because of what he has to offer them. Of course we have our issues and frustrations, we are not perfect and never will be; but I am disappointed that we can't keep that to our LP camp and off a public forum. As for all the soccer drama, I just want to say thank you to the keeper for driving an hour twice a week to get to practices and help our team out knowing as an 03, Daglish can't be a perminate home for you. It sure helped my dd not have to play keeper when we all had to take turns. So when you see the Daglish team, or a Daglish parent, please don't judge, as we do not all care about rankings and who is the best.

As one of the crazy Daglish parents I would like to say thank you to Lone star. I will take ownership of my part. I have written things in a black and white manner, leaving out all of the grey becasue it make for a more entertaining read and a more lively forum discussion. I have always tried to take full ownership of my own words. They are not meant to be a representation of the coach, club, or the team just my creatively colored opinion. Personally I think it is the Shelbys, yellowcards, jklinsmans who make the forum entertaining. But I also see how people can confuse a forum with reality. How people can use one persons words to confirm a preconcieved notion about a group. If you check my forum pic, it explains it all. I could truly care less what people think about "me" but I do like this team, this coach, and this group of parents and that does matter to me so I do apologize for anything that I have posted that may have brought harm to any of them. Just so we are clear, I am still an opinionated A%*hole but I will leave the witty banter to JK and shelbz.

Lonestar, much respect and I have no clue what all this is all about.

My question is: Isn't 2/3 more than the balance of 1/3? That will make it the majority, right?

May be my math is way off.
