Why is Solar Gio and XLR8 in silver

Well if u move them, move Sting Parker.
They beat XLR8 and the others listed in SDL besides Gio (they didn't playeach other)

And I'm surprised Dynamo is in this unless they're tuning up for texans tourney.
They are by far, IMO, the best team....and I'd want no part of that Smile

Your assumptions are incorrect. Our manager, tourney director and coach decided 2 months ago that Dynamo would be playing in this tournament before we even heard who would be playing in the Texans and/or Aces tourney. Part of that decision was not playing the weekend before or after Thanksgiving. Also, the majority of Dynamo plays volleyball and has a season ending tournament the same weekend as the Texans tourney. Pure and simple it’s a scheduling issue.

We enjoy the competition. In fact, we had to fight a bit to get into the PT league (league was full and we had to help find another team) so that we would be able to play tougher competition and we will be there again next season.

I believe the next tourney we are thinking about is the TFC Blue cup in December. Maybe we will see everyone there.

As far as Solar Stark, my understanding was that coach did not want his teams playing on the same weekend so they signed up for that tourney without seeing what teams were playing in it. I think that if you were to check the current team listing that they are no longer on it.

See above for Dynamo's reason for being in this tourney.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.....Good Luck and have fun. I think that there is enough competition in the Gold Bracket to give your girls a challenge.

According to the rankings FBR here is the breakdown
#7 Dynamo
#11 FCD Red
#14 TX Spirit North
#18 Solar East
#19 TFC Wells
#20 Solar Jones
Not sure why people always think you have to play higher teams to get better....with this way of thinking DT Higg, Webb, and FCD Premier would never get better because they play a majority of their games against lower teams. Sometimes its OK to be the favorite.

Likewise, the tournament organizers should allow teams to "play up" if they want to face more difficult competition. They won't be segregating teams into "gold" and "silver" brackets for the qualifying tournament.

Teams may play up, except for U10's. By NTSSA rule, U10 players may not play in U11 Competitive in leagues or tournaments

No worries. I ran into Ren and was like who are they? He explained.
If those two stay w Palmisano they'll be a quality team.

My understanding is it was a lot more than 2 girls from Renfro Red. (Grubb) And a lot more teams than just Palmisano that was stacked. Crappy on FCD if it's true.
