Also, I heard a team did not show up for a game yesterday. Some parents drove over an hour for the game - not cool. At least hey wound up scrimmaging another team, but still.
Nope, I'm tapped out. Missed all other games this wkd due to my kickboxing schedule.
What was the team that didn't show up?

I wasn't there so I can't say how competitive it was or wasn't. I heard Waco's goal hit the crossbar then hit a Fever defender and went in. Also heard that Waco had a few decent chances to score and Fever had several that weren't finished. I think you can judge by the score that the game was a little lopsided, but probably not a cake walk for Fever.
Waco may have had kids out on vacation, as did Fever. Who knows?

South played Liverpool and Renfro in the same weekend and there is nothing on either game that I know of. I heard South beat Renfro 2-0 but could have been 2-2. Nothing on the Liverpool game. Did South have a bad weekend? That's what it looks like. Surely somebody out there has something???

Wow, this week's posts were way better than most weeks regarding details. I think we really should try to report these kind of game details when possible. Way better than just scores. I was out of town this week so this is very cool.
DT South is on a great roll and obviously deserving of a top ranking slot. Can you give us a summary of how these Rangel and Renfro games played out?
Also, any detail on the Sting East vs Texas Spirit game would be welcome.
Bummer that I missed so many picks tho :-(

Sting East played on Spirits side of the field most of the game but could not finish. It could easily have been 4-0 Sting but on the last play of the game Spirit almost punched in a corner for a W. Both teams played hard and settled for a tie.

Good call on more commentary. Polaris Feet went back and forth with no scoring chances for most of the game. Physical play on both sides and the ref did a great job of calling pushing/extended arms on both sides. One feet player got a yellow card for a cleat to the knee. Polaris had a few chances in the 2nd half with the best one being a shot off the post and across the goal mouth. No shots on goal for Feet that I remember.
