FCD Rangel - tourraments are undecided. None in May. Will see about June.

Where'a DTX South? Also do you find that some maintain high rankings by not playing the big dawgs. South and Dynamos convieniantly skipping primetime with big names. Maybe for good reasons, but you got to give it to Fever, Blast and some of the others for putting their kids in the mix, playing best teams, instead of throphy hunting.RedBull wrote:1.FCD Grubbs

UM....you do realize that these teams DTS, Dynamo, Feet, Liverpool Rangel, etc. all played in primetime league this spring against all the best teams right?
I don't think it is fair to say they are 'hiding' since these top 12 teams just spent 2 1/2 months beating up on each other!!!!
Nothing wrong with some variety in who you play once in awile...they will all be together soon enough in King Tut & Qualifying.
now as for Higgy--they have been hiding out...good to see them back in the mix this weekend!!

TFC 02 is doing the two TFC tournaments this month, maybe the Academy Challenge League thing--but I can't tell if any other team has even signed up for it, King Tut--and of course QT.

The best training ain't always playing up against teams that smash what you are trying to do. Do you think Defeeters learned a lot last season other than how to slow the bleeding? Sometimes in soccer it makes sense to play at a level that lets you try players in new positions and guests can guest without the superbowl freakishness on the line. Maybe DT South coach is just being smart.

Don't quote me, but I believe they are in Houston playing a tournament down there. It is 8v8, gives a chance for more touches on the ball and work for the new players without the entire NTX soccer community's scrutiny. IMHO

Agreed, maybe my sarcasm for Pringlelover didn't come through in print. I think teams are probably playing and preparing the best way they think they should for QT. I doubt they are worried about trophies and rankings on the forum.
