I saw the game and your ass got handled. So stop that. First half you were packed in your 18. You crossed half field what twice or three times? Second half you had the wind so that helped but you were outplayed clearly. Scoreline is not any indicator of how that game went. Your not even tops in your own age group. South looked much better than you guys this weekend and we all know how much SRSA is ahead of you guys. Your good but not nearly as great as you guys think or act.
I was wondering the same thing....while I didn't witness any 03 games this weekend....I was wondering how the 03's actually looked? Did they get any shots on goal? Did they pack the box and just try to hold on? How was possesion? Just cuz the score is 1-0 doesn't really say much! Give us your version of the game Zidane? Any team can pack a box and keep it close. Did your team have any good shots on goal against Fever?

They had wind 1st half but we were not packing the box..our midfield had to drop back and support. The 2nd half we had the wind and had a few shots. We had some good crosses and corner attempts but came up short. We also just played some FC lubbock team into OT and shootout and looked exhausted. We were missing a few players but that is no excuse.I don't know the shot attempt numbers but they were not dominating as you would expect from a #6 (02). We also played Fever to shoot outs a few seasons ago in a tournament (not sure which one). Again, I did see both teams playing a possession style of play but this game came down to a free kick based on a player elbowing opponent after the play had moved on. I am sure Fever would have eventually won in OT; however, I was expecting a more dominating performance by the #6 team and did not see that. If anyone saw differently or thinks this was more lopsided than the score please comment so I can clean off my rose colored glasses. This post is not a slant against Fever, they are a good team and I just want the FBR to be more predictable. (on paper we should have lost by more)...and that is why I think our ranking @ 27 is a bit low.
The way for FBR to improve would be include more statistics other than only score. Scores do not tell real story about games in futbol. If you rely on a system of only scores you will never be correct. Wanting it to improve FBR is different than what is possible with young age kid groups. Upsets happen even in high levels of futbol. Why do parents never expect upsets here?

If you want to be ranked higher, win more against quality opponents.
To me, that's the most simplistic way to look at it.

It is not indicative of future performance. Much like college football rankings, just because someone is ranked higher does not keep them insulated from getting beat by a lower or non ranked team, nor does it guarantee that you will never beat a higher ranked team.

Parents complain because parents want to live and enjoy glory because of how child is ranked. Parents want to brag about rank. Most the children just want to play and have fun with friends and make coach happy. What you said here is brilliant.

Blah Blah Blah, Blah Blah Blah Blah........Hit the back button a couple times and go to the 03 forum. I am sure you can find someone on there to agree with you. Yall are a very good team, yes. So dont be the parent that ruins the good things that ppl have to say about your team by speaking such nonsense. I know......every team has that one parent, but dont let it be you.

2. Texas Vipers- about to shock the world!
3. Higg
4. SARA
5. Dynamo
All 3 teams are close. Could win on any given day. Higg a bit better than those three, but could lose to them if didn't play well.
6. GIO
7. Fever
8. Sting
9. Feet
10. Renfro- lost two key players, so they drop.
